The Mash

The Mash was created by Half Hitch Brewing Company as a way to recycle spent grains from its beer brewing operation. The grains are used to create a delicious coarse Napoleon-style pizza crust. We visited the Legacy location on a Wednesday night and were delighted to discover live music happening. The pizza was above average, service was attentive, music was a bonus, and Jay was well-loved by other diners. The Mash has dog-friendly patios at six of its ten locations: 17th Avenue, Legacy, Mahogany, Kensington, Chestermere and Windermere. Moreover, a “Pawsome” pizza is available for pooches, with $1 from every Pawsome sold donated to AARCS.
