Queensland

Accessed via Queensland Place & other residential streets

The community of Queensland is fortunate to host not one, not two, but three off-leash areas.  All three are connected, forming a crescent around the entire community.  The eastern portion skirts a tall cliff overlooking Fish Creek Park and the Bow River.  The middle portion meanders in between Queensland and Diamond Cove.  The west portion is a wide grassed area paralleling Bow Bottom Trail.  Most areas are grassed and meticulously maintained by the City.  All portions are unfenced, though the middle area feels fenced because it abuts residential fences and a quiet laneway.  Three waste bins are provided along the way, and a bench is available for taking in the view of Fish Creek Park.  At a lazy pace, the entire circuit can be completed in under an hour.
