1918 Tap & Table is a not for profit restaurant supporting the Royal Canadian Legion. Service is friendly and the nosh is good quality at a reasonable price. The patio ‘u-shapes’ around the building and this makes it a terrific location for dining with pooch. It’s not easy for many dogs to rest quietly under a table for an hour or more while dad lunches. This challenge is amplified if other dogs are in the vicinity. The U shape of the patio makes it easy for several pooches to be on the patio simultaneously but be out of sight, which decreases arousal levels. 1918 provides a personal water bowl and even offers a potty area.
