Decoding Your Dog
Author: The American College of Veterinary Behaviorists
Veterinary Behaviorists are a highly specialized subset of veterinarians. The designation is awarded only after years of rigorous training and practice subsequent to earning a degree in Veterinary Medicine. There are only a handful of board-certified Veterinary Behaviorists in North America, and less than a dozen in Canada. Decoding Your Dog is a collection of essays written by some of these elite experts, covering common dog behaviour concerns and intended for the lay dog guardian. It is an easy read with information helpful to average guardians with average knowledge about what their dog’s behaviour might mean.
