Calgary has Jim Davidson, CEO of FirstEnergy Capital Corporation, to thank for a unique dog playground in the southern community of Auburn Bay.  Ten acres of fully fenced off-leash fun is on offer.  Calgary Parks partnered with the Calgary Humane Society to bring enhanced features like a digging pit, boardwalk and interpretive signs into the design.  I love me some training rings, and the Bark & Play gives us two, complete with posted etiquette for using them.  Plenty of waste bins and lounging benches are lovely conveniences for pet parents, together with porta-potties in the parking lot.  This park also boasts proper double-gated entries.
