Puppy Pool Party

If any vacillation burbles around how fully the City of Calgary embraces its canine citizens, let me vanquish it with this: on the last day of the season, before outdoor pools are drained and cleaned and tucked away for winter, the City opens them up to dogs. If that’s not the cat’s pajamas, I don’t know what is!!
Admission is by donation, which is funneled to a designated local canine cause. Humans are welcome to romp in the water with Fido. A few trade booths were set up, offering guardians information on services and some free goodie bags. Jay had a blast, and he doesn’t really even like to swim.
