Staples

I ran dry on printer ink at the most inopportune time. Isn’t that the way it always happens? I called Staples to see if they would allow a dog in the store. The employee replied “that would be okay, as long as he doesn’t make a mess”. Given that outside conditions were slushy, I was a bit nervous about how to achieve a mess-free visit, but I figured since all the humans would be tracking wet in the store, they’d have to forgive a dog. When I entered the store, I overheard a cashier ask “is that allowed?”, and was relieved to hear the manager reply with a ‘yes’. It may not be well-known, even to their own employees, but it seems Staples is dog-friendly. Both my report and I are so very grateful.
