Michaels

Michaels has been described as a craft store on steroids, and that is an apt description. They carry supplies for scrapbooking, stamping, painting, drawing, baking, jewelry making, knitting - you name the hobby - they probably have the goods. They also do picture framing and have a big stock of cards, wrapping paper, home goods like silk flowers and storage baskets, and a ton of wedding tchotchkes. Most delightfully, Michaels is dog friendly. All of the abundant staff had a warm welcome for Jay, and a cookie was offered at checkout. This store is busy - jam-packed with shoppers - so be sure your pooch likes people if you wish to bring her along.
