Bark Mitzvah

Now in its sixth year, I am surprized that Bark Mitzvah is not as well attended as other summer dog events. It's fun, well-organized, and the venue at the Calgary Jewish Community Centre is terrific. Since the field is generously-sized, and attendees are fewer, this a great venue to try for dogs in the process of being acclimated to experiencing a festival environment. The number of vendors is small, but quality of offerings is high. With games, contests and agility equipment provided, Bark Mitzvah is much more interactive for guests than most other dog events.
