Redwater Rustic Grille

326 Aspen Glen Landing SW

Redwater Grille is a traditional dining option with a conventional menu;  there's likely something to please everyone from vegan and GF diets to good ol' Alberta beef.  Food quality and service were both respectable during our visit.  The patio is well-suited to canine guests, as the narrow width prevents too many adjacent tables, and the venue does not face a street or other retailers, but rather a lovely pedestrian pathway and overlooks a man-made pond, thus keeping environmental stimulants for pooches to a minimum.  (Excepting perhaps ducks landing in the pond, but the parapet wall and leafy landscaping mostly obscure the pond view at dog height.)  Dogs may not travel through the restaurant, so access to the patio is provided via an external staircase to the west of the main entrance.  Staff were friendly to J and provided a much-needed big bucket of water for him.

Unfortunately, the Macleod Trail location of Redwater Grille is not dog-friendly.
